Hello
From a young age, I was fascinated by the human mind and the ways our experiences shape how we think, feel, and respond to the world around us. My own journey of healing deepened this curiosity and strengthened my belief in our innate capacity to grow through pain and adversity. I’ve always been drawn to the incredible resilience and strength that people carry within them—the ability to heal, transform, and find hope even in life’s most difficult seasons. After more than 15 years in this field, I continue to feel deeply humbled and grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside others on their journey of self-discovery and healing.

My Approach
I am a relational therapist, which means I believe that meaningful change happens within the safety of genuine connection. I often describe therapy as a shared journey: you’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m in the passenger seat. Together, we explore the road ahead. Sometimes my role is to hold the map and gently offer direction; other times, it’s simply to sit beside you in silence—offering presence, understanding, and support along the way. We may take detours, pause for rest, or even lose our way for a moment—but with compassion and curiosity, we always find the path forward.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I draw from a range of approaches, always tailoring our work to what feels right for you. I work primarily with teenagers (ages 14–17), adults, and couples. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to express yourself authentically and without judgment.
My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic and integrative, drawing from various modalities to support the whole person—mind, body, and soul—because I believe these parts of us are deeply interconnected. Healing and wholeness come from acknowledging and nurturing every part of ourselves, and from understanding how this inner connection shapes who we are and how we relate to others.
I also recognize that every person’s story is unique. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. The process we build together will be shaped by your individuality—your strengths, values, and goals.
Life inevitably brings challenges, and change can often feel uncomfortable or overwhelming. I understand this not only as a therapist but as someone who has also sat on the other side of the couch. I hold deep respect for the courage it takes to take that first step toward healing and growth. In our work together, I’ll take the time to understand what matters most to you and provide the tools and support you need to help you move forward.
Your authentic self and inner strength are far more powerful than your pain—I would love to help you uncover that.
I WILL
Be a resource for you.
Our sessions will become a space within you—a place you can return to mentally when navigating challenges outside of therapy. My goal is for the work we do together to stay with you and continue to support you beyond our time in session.
Encourage you to speak your mind.
Nothing is off limits in therapy. You’re welcome to share whatever feels important to you. This is your space to express yourself freely and without fear of judgment.
Be honest with you.
If I notice something that may help you grow or serve your best interests, I will share it with care and honesty. My role is to support your insight and healing, even when the truth feels difficult.
Meet you where you’re at.
Whether you’re ready to dive into the deeper work or simply need a place to be heard, that’s exactly where we’ll begin. Therapy moves at your pace, not mine.
Care about you.
You are not just a client—you are a person with strengths, wisdom, and potential. My goal is to help you see the value, resilience, and capacity for growth that already live within you.
I WILL NOT
Judge you.
Your story will not shock me. Nothing you share will surprise or change my respect for you. My commitment is to provide a space where you feel fully accepted—exactly as you are, no matter what your story holds.
Tell you what to do.
You are the expert of your own life. I will never assume to know what’s best for you or impose my perspective. Instead, I’ll support you in discovering your own insights, helping you develop a deeper and more authentic understanding of yourself.
Take your pain away.
Your pain is real and deserves to be acknowledged. My goal is not to erase it, but to help you learn how to hold it with compassion, patience, and understanding. I’ll offer guidance and presence as you learn to coexist with your pain and make it more tolerable.
Decide when therapy ends.
That choice belongs entirely to you. When or if you feel ready to end therapy, we will discuss it together, ensuring the process feels complete and respectful to your journey.
Minimize your story.
Your experiences, struggles, and trauma are valid. Comparing your pain to someone else’s only diminishes your healing. Here, your story matters—and it will always have space to be heard.
YOU ARE
A person of worth.
You are not “complaining” or “wasting” my time. Everything you share in session matters. One of my goals as a therapist is to help you recognize your own value and worth. Your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are important—and I want to hear them.
Capable of creating change in your life.
I believe that every person carries an inner capacity for growth and transformation. Together, we can strengthen your ability to feel more in control—by exploring your thoughts, behaviours, and choices in ways that foster confidence and self-awareness.
Able to heal.
I believe in your ability to heal and grow. If healing weren’t possible, the work I do wouldn’t exist. I’ve witnessed people find meaning, strength, and peace even after deep pain—and I know you can too.

Resilient.
Your ability to keep going, even when things are hard, speaks to your strength. Healing doesn’t erase pain, but it reveals the resilience that has carried you this far.

More than your struggles.
You are not defined by your trauma, anxiety, or challenges. There’s so much more to you than what you’ve been through—and therapy can help you reconnect with that truth.

YOU ARE NOT
“Too much” or a burden.
Your feelings and experiences are valid, and you deserve to be heard. Nothing you share is “too heavy” or “too much.” This is a space where your pain, confusion, and hopes can be expressed freely and met with understanding.
Broken or damaged.
You are not defined by what you’ve been through. The very fact that you’re seeking therapy speaks to your strength and your willingness to heal, even if it doesn’t always feel that way. You have worth, resilience, and the capacity to change the things in your life that no longer bring you peace.

Your past.
Your past experiences may have shaped you, but they do not define you. You are capable of rewriting your story and creating new patterns of healing and growth.

Hopeless.
Even if it feels like nothing will ever change, there is always a path forward. Healing is possible—even from the places that feel impossible.

Your emotions.
Your anger, sadness, fear, or shame do not define you—they are signals pointing to something that needs care and attention.
